I was very pleased this week just past, having spent some time in the OOL, SYD & MEL lounges, to see they have mixed up their wine selection. Even better, VA now stock my favorite budget-mid range bubbles (Grandin) and my favorite budget-mid range red (Josef Chromy Pepik Pinot Nior). Top that off with the fact they already stock my favorite budget-mid range beer, Peroni, and it makes for a happy lounge experience!

If you haven't tried the Pepik, be sure to grab a glass when you're next in.

As well as this, i noticed in MEL yest afternoon, around 3:30 or 4:00 there was Chinese style BBQ pork on offer as well as one of the lounge staff walking around with hot quiches - was a welcome change to the standard toasted sandwich or minestrone soup!

The BBQ pork has been around off and on for some time - normally presented with a cold glass noodle salad alongside.

Hey, had all that. First time I saw it though... Admittedly I'm not usually in the lounge at that time.
