New version of iOS app!

Not sure if it's been noted before but I'm having trouble quoting a post to reply to on iOS. I can quote the post but the cursor/enter text part doesn't appear after the

I just tried it. If you flick the enter text part up with your finger, you'll find the cursor.

I've had several crashes when that happens!

New app is definitely very different, still getting used to the interface. One thing though is it is crashing on me fairly regularly. Usually when I exit from a thread back to the list of topics and it will just freeze before crashing out, anyone else had these issues?

I am also getting a lot of crashing, but just hope a future incremental update will squash the crash report bugs they're no doubt receiving from my device

Hi, I am getting so many crashes that I can no longer use the app. The app loads, I can select a forum, but when it opens a discussion is crashes every time. Have shut down and restarted iPhone, but no improvement at all. Very unfortunate.

Admin posted yesterday:

Some users are reporting that the iPhone App is crashing. I am aware of the issue and have reported it to Tapatalk. (If it happens to you, by all means send them the crash report - the more reports they get, the quicker they will resolve the problem!!)

I suspect the problem is related to an upgrade of the back-end (ie. on our server) which was done today. There will be a new front-end (i.e. the App you download and install on your phone) version released shortly. It has been loaded to the Apple App Store and is waiting approval from Apple before it goes live. This process could take a few days. When I tested the new front-end it didn't seem to crash, so hopefully the problem will be resolved in a few days.

I can't send any crash reports as the app shuts down immediately.

Happy to be directed as to how I can send a crash report.

Just deleted the old app and downloaded again. Seems to be working - so far!

App crashing on me constantly at the moment.
Tried on iphone, ipad and ipad air.
I keep sending the crash reports so hopefully resolved soon.

It has been fixed today. Need to delete and re download it from the App Store. That's what we've all been saying on this thread today.

I just updated the app and like the colour red. (Hint: QF should tweak their red to make their webpages better)

There are some issues with quoting posts to reply and display in the App.
Multiple post quoting results in the posts appearing as attributed to the first handle quoted.
Eg Straitman replies to multiple posts from QF WP, Markis10 and Pushka.
All the posts quoted appear in the app to have been posted by QF WP.

That's cool. I also like the blue.

Unfortunately it didn't fix the incorrect attribution thing.

And it's still crashing sometimes when quoting.
