Just had a play with the new version of the iOS app and it's strikingly different!

I'll have to get used to it now, but I think navigation has taken a hit.

It's heaps faster to load content.

There's another thread about this from last night. The navigation is now very similar to tapatalk. Very easy to navigate. It's come a long way since the first version.

Found something broken in the new app which worked fine before.

If you click a link to another post on the forum in the new app, it takes to you to first post of the thread, not the linked post.

Have noticed a couple of minor bugs but will all come out in the wash

I don't like the hideous red colour banner at the top of the page, blue is much more soothing.
Also I think the dotted line separating messages may not make the separation clear enough.
Just my cough of the day. ;)

Am I doing something wrong? Just downloaded again (now on an iPhone 5S not Android) and I keep getting the message:
"You are not allowed to login via Tapatalk, please contact your forum Administrator."

Did you download the AustFreqFly app or Tapatalk?

The AFF app. I don't have Tapatalk, as the other forums I frequent don't require it.

I'm really liking it. I'm used to this style from other tapatalk forums. On which this version is based.

I have found the user experience to be significantly superior - intuitive design, faster and far more logical layouts.

However, I can't seem to disable push notifications? I've opted to not have push notifications but I still get notified each time a thread I'm seemingly (automatically) subscribed to gets a response.

Maybe do that through the web version?

I'm having a bit of trouble with unsubscribing from the "Subscribed Threads" area. The old app would delete it as soon as I returned to the unread posts, but the new one is less cooperative. It can take a couple of goes to have it show as unsubscribed but it remains in the list.

Not sure if it's been noted before but I'm having trouble quoting a post to reply to on iOS. I can quote the post but the cursor/enter text part doesn't appear after the

I just tried it. If you flick the enter text part up with your finger, you'll find the cursor.
