New version of iOS app!

Just had a play with the new version of the iOS app and it's strikingly different!

I'll have to get used to it now, but I think navigation has taken a hit.
 
It's heaps faster to load content.
 
Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

There's another thread about this from last night. The navigation is now very similar to tapatalk. Very easy to navigate. It's come a long way since the first version.
 
Found something broken in the new app which worked fine before.

If you click a link to another post on the forum in the new app, it takes to you to first post of the thread, not the linked post.
 
Have noticed a couple of minor bugs but will all come out in the wash
 
I don't like the hideous red colour banner at the top of the page, blue is much more soothing.
Also I think the dotted line separating messages may not make the separation clear enough.
Just my cough of the day. ;)
 
Am I doing something wrong? Just downloaded again (now on an iPhone 5S not Android) and I keep getting the message:
"You are not allowed to login via Tapatalk, please contact your forum Administrator."

Did you download the AustFreqFly app or Tapatalk?
 
The AFF app. I don't have Tapatalk, as the other forums I frequent don't require it.
 
I'm really liking it. I'm used to this style from other tapatalk forums. On which this version is based.
 
I have found the user experience to be significantly superior - intuitive design, faster and far more logical layouts.

However, I can't seem to disable push notifications? I've opted to not have push notifications but I still get notified each time a thread I'm seemingly (automatically) subscribed to gets a response.

Maybe do that through the web version?
 
I'm having a bit of trouble with unsubscribing from the "Subscribed Threads" area. The old app would delete it as soon as I returned to the unread posts, but the new one is less cooperative. It can take a couple of goes to have it show as unsubscribed but it remains in the list.
 
Not sure if it's been noted before but I'm having trouble quoting a post to reply to on iOS. I can quote the post but the cursor/enter text part doesn't appear after the [noparse]

I just tried it. If you flick the enter text part up with your finger, you'll find the cursor.
