Hi came across this website while trying to investigate Virgin Velocity points - seems to be lots of tips. I just booked Perth to Sydney last week - booked the Saver fare then noticed that I could get the Flexi for and extra $20 which included luggage allowance, meals, drinks and movies. Then noticed Virgin had a special where you could upgrade from Flexi to Business for half the normal points (perth to SYdney just cost me 4950.. So got to upgrade both ways for under 10,000 points - what an experience never want to go economy again. So definitely will be on the look out for specials and deals.
 
Welcome lovetotraveloften. Plenty of good stuff here, glad to see you got a good deal on your J upgrade.

Domestic J has its limitations, and DJ's version certainly does, but its a world away from being crammed in economy and really hard to look forward to flying in the back of the bus once you've tasted freedom at the front :)
