Hi All,

Finally decided to join after many months of sitting back and reading advice.

Family going to UK in Nov 2013 (all 5 passengers classified as adults).

Previously flown economy with Emirates (2008) and Qantas (2009).

My wife has suggested Singapore or British airway for this years trip in either economy or premium, any suggestions??

Thnx.

Hi Davker welcome to AFF, do you have points with a particular program?

Due to lack of flying the last few years used all Emirates before expiry on pointless products. Qantas FF points used on last trip, have a residual of 55249 points.

Welcome aboard davker, I guess the first question is, where are you starting from? and then do you have any particular preferences? For example QFi PE is better than BA PE.

Hmm guess it would help if I mentioned our city of departure.

Leaving from Melbourne to Heathrow (can catch a bus from LHR to train station close to my relatives for pick up).

My kids complained about lack of comfort and refreshments in Qantas economy, were happy with Emirates. Thought PE might be an improvement with more Airlines, guessing may not be the case!.
