I have received the new velocity platinum AMEX with the 100k points bonus, i haven't received the bonus yet, but my question is, when i use the card and accrue points for velocity FF, do those points stay with the amex card and then you have to transfer them to your velocity membership, or is it done automatically?

I already have some points in my Velocity account from flights, BP fuel, etc so when i use the amex, will those points increase, or will that not change and then as I like i can transfer them?

and another question, with the whole BP fuel thing, its 2 points per litre, but i get that without using the amex card if i use my velocity card to swipe before i pay, do I now no longer have to swipe the velocity card and can just pay with the amex alone? or do i still have to swipe the velocity card to get the fuel points? If i do, does that mean i get points from the velocity card + points for paying with amex?

thanks for the responses

They transfer automatically each month just before your statement date.

In regards to BP, you need to swipe your VFF card to get the BP Velocity points, the credit card points are additional.

Thanks mate,

so you are saying... i can get 2 points per litre, plus points for the dollars spent on the litres?
