Received this email today. Is this a new business partnership?

Hi so-and-so!

Paying bills is now more rewarding. New Sniip customers can earn 5,000 bonus Qantas Pointswhen you sign up and pay your eligible bills with Sniip*.

Here’s how:
  1. Download the Sniip app
  2. Enter promo code BONUS5000 at sign up
  3. Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer number under the 'Loyalty' tab in the app
  4. Pay 3 separate bills totalling $1,000 or more within 60 days.

Plus, you’ll also earn 1 Qantas Point for every $10 transacted in the Sniip app^.

Hurry, the 5,000 bonus points offer is available for a limited time - so what are you waiting for? Sign up to the Sniip app today and discover the ultimate way to pay your bills.

I’ve been with Sniip for years. Guessing I can’t earn the bonus 5000 points though because I’m not a new member with them.

Velocity members can earn points too but I’m not sure if it’s the same earn rate.

Can you still earn Sniip rewards, or do you select between Sniip rewards, QFF or Velocity?

Oops, sorry folks! There’s some weird looking formatting going on there. I’ll try to fix it up on my PC when I get home…

Yes a new partnership.

AFF however totally ignored it and give us an article/advertisement about pay.com instead due to the ownership links.

Read our AFF credit card guides and start earning more points now.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

It's definitely a thing. Missed out on the 5K bonus by already being signed up, but linked accounts for the regular ongoing award. Only 1 pt per $10, but given I'm already getting the full points earn on the CC by funneling ATO payments through Sniip, an additional 2000 pts on a $20K BAS payment is not to be sneezed at.

Hello everybody
Can you help? I have tried numerous times to join Sniip, but google keep blocking my information that’s required by Sniip. I understand security, but is this site legitimate?

It’s legitimate, yes. I’ve been using it for a few years.

Have you tried entering your details manually, rather than clicking on the Google logo?

Are you using a mobile? Have you tried different web browsers on your computer?

Is there a fee for using sniip?
Other than points earn for otherwise non earning bill payments - any other benefits?

Benefits there are quite a few billers that still don't accept AMEX but still charge fees for using Visa or MC. Sniip lets you use AMEX and also lets you pay business that only have bank transfer available.

In other words, you can pay the credit card surcharge via Sniip and earn points or pay it to the people who have charged you the bill and not earn points. Take your pick. 🤣

I literally signed up last week to Sniip and this offer came out 3 days later.

I've contacted Sniip support to see if they can give me a pass, or at least, cancel my account so I can re-signup.

I've been signed up for years, so only ~250 points on my last transfer. Dare I ask for a loyalty bonus? :p

You can delete your account but, unless they manually approve it, it won't qualify for the bonus if you re-open it with the same details.

To get the bonus automatically you have to sign up on a new device, email, phone, QFF and payment card. You don't need to use a real name as they won't ask for ID to pay $1000 of bills

As an update, I contacted Sniip support via email and phone, and to cut a long story short, they approved for me to get the 5,000 signup bonus points retrospectively. So all good.

That was nice of them.

My points have not come through after paying the 3 bills so I have contacted support.

Yeah, from what I’ve seen, you can only pick one – either QFF, Velocity, or Sniip rewards – not all at once. And yeah, sadly the 5,000 bonus looks like it’s just for new signups. Would’ve been nice if long-time users got something too.
