Aeroplopa, which has been on the web for a while now has an app. 14 day free trial then A$50/year or A$8/month. I don't think there is a free version after the free trial.
I've been playing around with it, and there is a lot there. All the seat maps for particular aircraft with colour coded good/bad (and why) of course or the aircraft type operating a flight you input; shows direction of sun and tracks day/night during the progress of your flight. All the details of a seat, wifi offered etc. Aircraft change / seat alerts.
You can save seat maps to work offline with (you can download the whole lot - 295 MB!).
Worth playing around with.
Can't see a relation between the web Aeroplopa web subscription and the app, although the app has imported my favourites (aircraft type) from the web site (I logged in with the same e-mail - Apple and Google options too).
