BA will add a 23rd destination to the US next year, with the " Big Easy" city of New Orleans joining the route map from March 27th next year. Flights will be flown on a 787-8 Dreamliner.
A great new destination if I may say so myself.

In other surprising new's, Chengdu China gets the chop next year, with BA citing the route is unprofitable. I remember the extensive marketing when this route was announced. What went wrong?

Interesting... I must say, I'm surprised about Chengdu. I too recall the fanfare about British Airways growing in China when the route was launched, with the airline's executives touting it as one of many new flights BA would be adding to China. With so much growth in the Chinese market, BA would have to have failed pretty badly to not make this work IMHO!

The CTU failure is interesting. The introduction of the route featured quite a bit in the three part TV series about BA a couple of years ago.

With the massive growth in the Chengdu/Chongqing area, particularly multi nationals, this should have huge potential.
