Cruiser, unfortunately I can't make it to Toppy's as I will be overseas then. Will let you know when my next trip to MEL will be and if you are in town, I'll buy you dinner at Toppy's in return :D
Deal - just you and I - we'll give those other dudes a right old working over in their absence what say ye? :D

As far as I can tell, these specials are only to KL, and already include 15pc discount (so only extra 15pc), also no discount thru to SIN. In J, 28k MEL-KUL (30pc off) but 34k MEL-SIN(usual 15pc online discount). Or did you manage to get all the way to SIN for 28k?

I got MEL -> KUL -> SIN [return] for 56k pts or 30% off for D Class but higher Taxes. I've also managed to get MEL -> KUL -> PEN [Return] D-Class also for 56k points but paying slightly lower taxes.

Pity I couldn't stack the discounts but hey I missed the 50% off last time.

Just booked my cheapest J tix ever! KUL-ADL for 20K points and $189. Considering I got the points from a friend (who was going to use the points for gift vouchers ), 20K points worked out to be around $200, hence, total cost is less than $400 one way. Couldn't be happier! :D

found out that they took 68k points out of each of my flights. So I was informed incorrectly by the person who made my flight bookings. Oh well. The flights for 56k points were only for Australia to KUL and nothing else. oh well, still booked it.

Starting or finishing at KUL does seem to be the case with the offers. By the time you lose the 15% online discount they don't offer as much value if you have an onward connection
