Sorry but that isn't correct. The QP card is just that, a QP Card.

It is not a Qantas Cash/Travel money card, which is fact.

The OP displayed his new QANTAS CLUB membership card, which presumably allows access to QF Lounges and other privileges for those with little or no status. It also has a chip. BettyB I believe is confusing her QANTAS FREQUENT FLYER card (also with a chip) with the Qantas Club card. They are different, the Qantas Frequent Flyer card also acts as a cash card if that is your want.
