Oh such memories. Those two B747s were truly beautiful Queens in those special liveries.

VH-ZND according to Facebook post response.
Odds on it will get the 'Dreamtime' name of those left

Interestingly, all of those paint jobs were heavier than the standard scheme. I wonder how that will fit in with the proposed use of the aircraft.

Supposedly the original schemes were to have been done on two -400s, but an issue with aircraft availability forced the change to the -300. I like them...a bit different, whilst still relevant.

Fantastic, they really stand out when you watch from the MEL QP. :D

I’m not usually a fan of dot painting, but this looks great.

Despite my <avatar, Im not a big fan of red so the plane is a bit too red for me (plus I preferred some of her other works) but it must be pretty special to see, lined up at the gates.

And this post made me look up/read about Emily Kame Kngwarreye. I wonder what she would tell us about Australia during her life but Im also left feeling sad about her success also being difficult for her (family financial responsibility, pressure to work ect). Emily Kngwarreye Alhalkere . This honor to her made me sad for her, I hope my emotions are misplaced and she had a happy life.

Looking good, but I guess they all do when they are in the paint shop.
