New partnership between PC and Virgin Atlantic.

medium

Priority Club Rewards is excited to announce our new partnership with Virgin Atlantic, launching on 1st March! Priority Club Rewards members can now earn Flying Club miles at IHG hotels or convert their Flying Club miles into Priority Club points.

Flying Club offers more miles per flight than with other leading loyalty programmes. Members can reach Silver and Gold status faster and enjoy even better earning and spending opportunities. That’s just one of the reasons they think it’s the most generous rewards programme in the sky - so no matter where you’re headed on holiday, you can watch your miles add up. Unlike other airline loyalty programmes, Flying Club members don’t need to fly to start earning miles: they can start earning as soon as they join.

How many miles can you earn?

500 miles per qualifying stay at InterContinental Hotels
400 miles per qualifying stay at Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts / Hotel Indigo
300 miles per qualifying stay at Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts / Holiday Inn Express / Staybridge Suites / Candlewood Suites

How many points can you earn?

10,000 Flying Club points can be exchanged for 10,000 Priority Club Points.

Can you transfer any amount or is it capped at 10,000?

Also, does anyone know if you can transfer points from PC to Velocity? This might be a way for me to get my 100,000 Flying Club Miles over to Velocity..... :D

Any reason you would want to swap FCM for Velocity Points:?::!:

As I see it Flying Club redemptions are streets ahead in terms of value on Velocity (at present)

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Wish I could get 10000 FC miles for USD$60 like I can get 10000 PC miles, that would give me a $300 J trip to HK.

A slightly better earn rate for short car rentals. 1000/rental Virgin Atlantic miles vs 125/day Priority Club.

I suppose you could earn Virgin Atlantic miles and convert them to Priority Club, assuming you rented often enough.

Its actually 1100 miles per rental if your are a hertz #1 member, always nice to get a 10% bonus and have a quicker pickup!

I know it a silly question and none of my business but why?

Only if the Hertz website would accept the Hertz #1 Gold member number in the reservation.
