Emirates has signed a new partnership with Greek Star Alliance member Aegean Airlines, which includes earning and redeeming miles on each others' airlines.

From the press release:

Starting from today, Emirates Skywards members can earn and redeem Miles on all flights operated by AEGEAN and its subsidiary, Olympic Air, to 162 destinations across Europe, Middle East and North Africa. Starting from 21 May,* Miles+Bonus members can also earn and redeem Miles on all Emirates’ flights to more than 140 destinations across six continents, via the airline’s extensive network.*

You can already redeem Skywards miles online for Aegean flights, although the redemption costs are quite high:

From 21 May you'll be able to redeem Aegean miles on Emirates flights. This could present some interesting opportunities as Aegean has a pretty good award chart if you just want to book a direct or one-stop flight, especially for travel within a single zone. Once this comes online, I assume Aegean Miles+Bonus redemptions won't be possible in Emirates First or Premium Economy.

Not sure if Aegean still sell miles but have previously at good rates...

Yes, they still do...

I bought some last year and used them for a long flight within South America (flying on Star Alliance). Saved hundreds of dollars!
