Hi I was looking into this 1-2 months ago and found LOT into Tokyo on brand new 787 the specials were good. They are an star Alliance member. You would then grab a Jetstar flight up to Japan if your frugal or more upmarket go with ANA.

Good to have you along lully59. You can try Finnair for a an open jaw return flight from here to say Warsaw, and then return from various other European cities. You can easily get three flight legs each way for the already heavily discounted fare for two flight legs.
