Well. Ummm.

Not so good. Harder to search. Harder to find flights. Haven't worked out if there is an increase in connections.

Longer connections still seem to be unavailable.

Actually on having a look, ... I'm willing to give it a chance. Like QF and other airlines, its been 'iThing-ed'

Hum - not sure - information is not as concisely presented but it seems pretty fast. I'm still trying to figure out if it now shows long connections etc which are valid but require screen shots.

I get the impression that 'flight bookings' haven't changed (and not much else either), and its mainly an appearance and lay-out rebuild.

There was plenty of SA availability between PER and JNB before this upgrade. But maybe that's not really a desired route for US-based users. I don't recall seeimg much SAS before, but then I haven't looked much either.

I’m not impressed by the new layout, don’t find it any faster or more efficient, it just looks more modern.

Some interesting changes I’ve noticed apart from increased availability on SAS and SAA are more SQ Y routes being offered and increased Air India availability which seem to be prioritised on the expense of other options. None of these changes are positive or relevant to my needs but at least they kept the usual sweetspots alive and hopefully screenshots will continue to work.

Re: SAA. Domestic J seems more plentiful than before.. PER>JNB and JNB>HKG in J available too.

Well the site at least doesn't seem any worse than the old one. A lot more white space though.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements

Except it's not easy to see if premium cabins are availble (unless you open all the boxes)

Yeah, I agree that it's not as user-friendly. But the information and basic functionality is still there (you just have to scroll more and look harder for it.)

Sounds like you’re describing the new AFF site after ditching the app :p

Was there a bonus offer in Feb 2018? I remember one in Feb 2017.

Don't love the new site. It seems like change for the sake of change, with a backward step in user experience.

seems to have been no improvement in getting connecting flights. sigh. i'd hopped they could get to be closer to United in usability.
