Does anyone have further information on the new KrisFlyer waitlist policy ? (Letting you know if your waitlist is successful at least 14 days prior to departure).
The SQ website says this will start in the second quarter of 2019.
I have a waitlist booking that is now 13 days prior to departure and haven’t been informed if it is confirmed or not. The waitlist hasn’t been cancelled either. I rang the call centre - they weren’t much help re the 14 day time frame. They claimed to have sent a “chaser”.
Also, with the new policy it states the waitlist will either be confirmed or cancelled 14 days prior. What happens if you waitlist for a flight that is less than 14 days before departure... instant confirmation/cancellation do you think?
