Hi, I have just joined and hope to read up on your site. It is good to be able to read everyone's experience and share in your knowledge. One of the immediate questions I have is that I flew on Vietnam Airlines in January. How can I claim my miles from them, I don't currently have any accounts with other airlines in the same group so as an Aussie I am wondering which would be best to join in order to claim my points. I know I am very raw at this and hope get up to speed soon.
Thanks in advance
Kerry

Hi Kerry

Firstly welcome to AFF.

If you weren't a member of any program when you took the flights i don't think you can join now and claim the retrospective points for a time when you weren't a member

Hey Kerry. I suspect you didn't create a VN account before flying. Therefore it will be a long shot to email and politely request points to be credited. Have a crack though. Tbh it's only worth it if you will be using that program regularly.. Otherwise chalk it up as a lesson learned.
