I was very surprised last night to see that Jetstar is now serving spirits from mini bottles. Previously they only had premix cans (and only three varieties from memory).
I think we are now at the point where the F&B service on JQ has surpassed Qantas. Sure, you have to pay for it, but with a bundle you get a $10-15 credit. And with the offerings on Qantas lately many people would prefer to pay for something better.
When I was speaking with the JQ FA, she did say she was concerned about pax behavior (which is why I believe QF stopped serving spirits in Y). I don’t buy the argument when you can get a red wine with 2.0 standard drinks.
