Was reading something in the QF magazine on a domestic flight last week which indicated they were starting to serve another type of Champagne alonge with the Tattenger Comp

Anyone know what it is and when it starts?

Will be on QF 127 next week so maybe I will get to see then??

Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 2000 I believe. :) should already be effective on the flights via DXB to LHR

Its a great drop but will be on SYD/HKG so sounds like its only the Kangaroo route??

Hoping for Points Upgrade to F on QF11, 27th May - Pol Roger, my all-time favourite Champagne brand, would be the icing on the cake :)

Travelled QF127 yesterday in F. Wine menu had the Sir Winston and Comp on it. However they only had Comp to serve

It seems in F they will just rotate between the drops and not carry both??

Tough burden. But hey someone has to suffer

We flew LHR MEL a week ago and they did not have it
Didn't have it on either flight to and from Dubai tow weeks back and no- they are meant to be BOTH on board according to the crew on both flights and the wine list. One crew member on the way back told me that everyone was extremely frustrated that it doesn't get loaded yet and apparently, rumor has it that one single flight DXB-LHR had the Pol Roger on it so far. Hopefully this will change rather sooner than later as the Tattinger has never really appealed to me and is way inferior to the usual Dom that many others serve in F. As with all those things- a matter of taste, but I would very much welcome the Pol Roger!

Well good luck getting a drink. When I flew JFK-LAX in J recently they ran out of Coke Zero very early. I only got 1.5 glasses. Still I guess alcohol is more important than diet soft drink.

Of course! :)
