THE new Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which has been snapped up by airlines including Qantas, is made from a brittle material that could shatter instead of crumple in a crash, a former Boeing engineer says.

Interesting story - great headline grabbing stuff for a discredited journalist. This obviously isn't going to change any aircrtaft orders but I assuming that the airlines will be seeking proof to discredit the claims...
