I haven't seen this reported here yet:

BA cabin crew dispute 2011 - latest information - British Airways

I apologise in advance to any members affected by this strike, if it occurs. It was no doubt brought on by the fact that I have 4 impending flights with BA in Europe and domestic UK (both likely to be affected, as they were last time I flew with them) and trans-Atlantic.

Ugh - trip to the UK in March - hope this wont be affected - I have tagged a trip to Cyprus on at the end :(

Yeah, as I said in my first post, I'm also flying them in March and April. Fortunately, a few EU internals are with AY.

And I just booked flights in March thru Europe with them. Ugh. As the article said, BA crew are actually the best paid in Europe. It's a shame they can't be pointed with a stick and have this drilled into them.

And for all BASSA's posturing etc, they have achieved nothing except loss if income for those members who went on strike, hardship for BA passengers and dismantling of themselves.

The original complaint against BA imposing their right to reduce cabin crew on certain flights by one staff member has failed.

The BA Stewards and Stewardesses Association is to be dissolved.

...
What people should not lose sight of is that BA management, now led by new chief executive Keith Williams, have secured the two big cost-saving measures they were looking for. The company will save more than £60m a year by reducing the size of cabin crews and will save an as yet unquantified amount by exercising its right to hire new cabin crew on more competitive pay rates.
