Hi, been in FF for over a year now, and just starting to slowly make sense of it. I am about to run short of sc by 30 march and trying to make some up. But think i have left it too late. Got confused between economy and discount economy sc.

Welcome aboard debrob. If you want some assistance in attaining your status then tell us which is your preferred airline and your home airport.

Someone here will know a good little run for you.

Thankyou so much. My silver expires 31 march 14. I have 85sc. A trip Darwin to Manilla return with JS on starter plus and another trip Dwn to bali rtn JS Starter plus. When speaking with JS representative i was told i would accumulate a total of 80 + 60 sc but when i checked it out myself, it seems i will only earn 40+30sc. I need to have 250 total sc to retain my silver before March for flights from Darwin. Please help.

Do you look like doing a lot more flying in the coming year?
Aside from your increased luggage allowance and some bag tags, IMHO there isn't much more to silver.

Priority check-in could well be the most important benefit of Silver for some.

Yeah, i know it is not much but it has served me well with the points i did collect and were able to utilise. Nevertheless, i felt why i had it i may as well keep it. I do a lot of short overseas trips and a couple of interstate.

Will see what happens. thankyou anyway

No worries. Maybe a few status runs are in order?
