New Amex statement credits

Tried yesterday at a "Participating Location" aka Cellarbrations Castle Plaza - useless as they dont take Amex and nver have, spoke with the owner as Cellarbrations are franchises
Looks like the participating locations list has been updated, No Castle Plaza Cellarbrations store . Will be trying the Brighton Store

Just spent $100+ on grog from the local IGA, a member of Independent Liquor. I did so previously for the $30 credit.
Really pee'd off. The offer never tracked. I contacted Amex and they said you are not registered for it. I said that is because it has expired (spend $100 save $30). Please pull it up from the expired offers. Oh, we can'ty see the expired offers. Told them I did not imagine it. I think I am being ripped off by amex.

I just had a look at my expired offers in the app for the Amex card where I didn't use the offer and it's there

I had this a couple of months ago, where via a web browser it doesn't show up the expired (unused ones), where via the App it does.

My issue was that on the App it had that I hadn't used the Luxury Escapes offer and used it. The other cards I got the credit for and one I didn't. When it ended it went into the expired group on the app. I queried it, but was told I had used it already, which I then realised I had used it when it first came out, but was show as still available till it ended.

After spending about an hour on the chat with them, I gave up, as my time in the long run was going to be more then what the offer was.

My lesson learnt was to keep better track of what cards I have used the offer on, when using an offer on different cards.
