Most useful ‘credit’ for me is that I can participate in the Australian F1 Grand Prix presale on 05.09.25 by having an amex.
Yep that one. I've never been able to get it to recognise/lock Fyshwick. I've been at the bowser and the app tells me that Jerra is cheaper.Way OT, but assume you mean the one next to KFC? I fuel lock there all the time, as it is usually the cheapest of the 5 or 6 on the southside, incl Queanbeyan and Jerra.

Don't you mean a chopper? This is also wayyy OT, but shouldn't you take a dash 8 to Sydney, fuel lock a cheaper price, then fly back to Canberra to fill?

IMO the max 25c discount kinda kills the effort of getting into the chopper/dash8 here in CBR at least because unless you are filling up at the cheapest one (usually Fyshwick recently), there is often ~20c difference just on local stores already.take a dash 8 to Sydney, fuel lock a cheaper price, then fly back to Canberra to fill?
Exactly the same as the Woolies specific but locked to MCC rather than just Woolies. I’ve successfully used at both Coles and Woolies.Anyone have experience with the "Supermarket Slayer" gift card?
It said it can be used at all major supermarkets and has aa search field to check acceptance, but neither Woolworths or Coles show up in that search.
Yes in used these 'special' gift cards at Woolies only a few times. No issues.I see Woolworths Gift Cards are OOS at Special Gift Cards.

Agreed, the max 25c discount basically kills any major usage of the feature (before this 'cap' I was able to somehow lock in the cheap price at the bottom of the cycle, and then as soon as it shot up to the top of the cycle was able to fill up for the cheaper price). These days the difference between the floor and ceiling of the petrol cycle (at least in SE MEL) is way more than 25c, so it's only really useful when you're locking in at a location whose floor is lower than your local's floor. That's when the real value can be had.IMO the max 25c discount kinda kills the effort of getting into the chopper/dash8 here in CBR at least because unless you are filling up at the cheapest one (usually Fyshwick recently), there is often ~20c difference just on local stores already.
I bought a $200 Supermarket Slayer earlier this afternoon, and attempted to use it at Woolworths Gift Card website ($210.52 at 5% off comes down to $200 flat), however the payment failed.Exactly the same as the Woolies specific but locked to MCC rather than just Woolies. Guess I'll have to use it directly at Woolies' website/in store.
Can also be used for online orders for pick-up / delivery, although there are some annoyances there eg when there's unavailable items they'll reduce the card payment so sometimes you're left with residual balancesYes, they have to been added to Apple or Google, then use NFC. That's why they are "Special", specially a PITA to use.

Woolies gift card portal is not the super market so no dice they use a different MCC but can buy a card instore no problems.and attempted to use it at Woolworths Gift Card website ($210.52 at 5% off comes down to $200 flat), however the payment failed.
