New Amex statement credits

Does the QF Hotel credit voucher have to be used in one booking? That is, if the credit voucher is for, say $500, can it be used in two bookings of $250 each?
I think these are the relevant T&C:

Credit note vouchers (Credit Vouchers)
Credit Vouchers are vouchers issued by Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays on cancellation of a booking (subject to eligibility). Credit Vouchers can be used towards part, or full payment of Qantas Hotels and Qantas Holidays bookings through qantas.com (excluding Airbnb). Credit Vouchers must be used within 3 years from the date of issue, or they will expire and the value of the Credit Voucher will be forfeited.

If after using your Credit Voucher there is a balance remaining to be paid, you must pay this balance with a credit/charge card or through the use of Qantas Points if you are a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.

If you make a change to your booking, any applicable fees will need to be paid by you using a credit/charge card. If the value of your revised booking is greater than the original booking, you will be required to pay the difference with a credit/charge card, Qantas Points, or any remaining balance on your Property Specific Voucher (if applicable). If the value of your revised booking is less than the original booking, you will be refunded the difference to the original method of payment (where credit/charge card or Qantas Points was used) or provided with a replacement Property Specific Voucher.

Feeling brave today. Bought $500 worth and got the email from Amex immediately.

It looks like it charges and creates a PNR in the exact same way as a normal booking.

Did you buy a general Qantas gift card from here or one specific to Qantas Hotels? I can't find the latter, but I thought the current Amex $500/$150 offer is just for Qantas Hotels.

I got a Qantas Hotels 500/150 offer on my Amex Plat that now appears as a 500/75 offer - am I imagining things or did I get a switcharoo

Quick Q re Qf gift vouchers...can the same gift voucher be used for more than 1 person?

The names of the gift voucher recipients may be changed when you redeem the gift voucher, but the number of recipients cannot be changed (you can't increase or decrease the total number of recipients):

On my Amex cards only the Qantas amex has the 500/150 offer. Standard amex has 500/75.

Got to be quick to use them!

Qantas 500/75

Mostly have until 2/10 to use them
Managed to get in just over $500 of spend on QF about an hour before the deadline:

The $1.29 x2 and $2.58 are carbon offset payments, the $5 is a preferred seat fee, the $44.51 is tax on an award redemption (MEL-ADL), the $176.60 is a cash fare (MEL-ADL) and the $272.40 is 2 cash fares ADL-MEL.
Mrs MN and I need to be in ADL next March so this offer was perfect timing to try out QF for their short hop service (and after the $75 credit this was the cheapest option across all carriers JQ/VA/ZL).

How did I do? Hopefully the AmEx system adds everything up properly, sees that it's >$500 and applies the $75 statement credit as promised.

Let's see how it all goes in a couple of days (weeks?) after everything comes out in the wash. Wish me luck guys!

So no Amex email? I did multiple bookings on the Qantas Hotels offer yesterday and got the email as soon as the $500 target had been reached.

I bought Robbie Williams tix last year for concert next month (via their presale) Immediate email from Amex saying qualifying purchase of 5000pts . Pts get posted after the service delivered ie one year later. So long time gestation

what 5000 points promotion was this for ? thank you

It was 12 months ago - although you could check if further tickets have been released for Robbie under amex entertainment. I have frequently had success going into my amex account to search for a concert I want to attend (with better seats than TM or TK). If they are a major sponsor often you get a pre-sale email which gets good seats. Not all concerts are advised via the latter.
