New Amex statement credits

Just called Amex - they said keep checking Its not offered to you if it doesnt display on your account even though its show on the generic travel offers page

Yep, that was my assumption. Hilton was the only one I didn’t get….

Just saw the AGODA offer. Any one know if we can stack this with Cashrewards?

I doubt it @Ktan89. I tried this last time, and CR didn't even track the transaction.

The Agoda offer goes through a special Amex landing page - hence the "commission" that CR would usually get from the booking will now flow to Amex. In the affiliate space it's only one partner that gets the kickback not 2/3/etc.

If CR is offering >12% cashback rate (and there's no price-jacking), then it may make more sense to go via CR.
The one downside with the Amex 12% off is that it applies only to select properties (which can be hard to determine), however any CR offers apply across the board.
CR even had 18% cashback at Agoda this past weekend...

MathNerd is correct. Cashrewards has its own special Agoda landing page just like Amex. CR has 14% cashback on Agoda until tomorrow.

Though at least with the AMEX you can have the discount up front and no concerns about rejection/not tracked. However I also found it impossible to find any properties with the "promo eligible" flag

The hotel I was looking at didn't have the special Amex Promo option anyway. CR 18% and 14% works well!

The Hilton offer was not previously showing up in my offers. I just checked and it is now there.

I note that it says 'in store only' so i guess booking and paying online is not going to work.

Can confirm the Hilton one finally showed up for me on the home page.

Also note that its Australian hotels only and it looks like it can only be done at its terminals, not a online payment. Can register your HH number I think at the front desk to make sure you get the nights and HH points.

Same here on all 3 cards. Just got email back fro mAmex saying they would look into it for me without giving any personal details. Great , but sadly no Marriott offer. Have let them know and asked them to look into Marriott Bonvoy Offer

Last time Hilton was offered it was the same. Just booked a non-prepaid rate through the Hilton Website, paid at the hotel, and credit offer came through. This way you get your points, nights towards status as well as the cashback

Didn’t Amex and Accor have some sort of a falling out, or couldn’t come to a new agreement with the Amex Platinum card membership benefits. That was about the time when we lost our top tier status with Accor as a benefit.

I would have thought that Accor Plus would be an indicator that there was a pretty positive relationship. It has always been a bit of a mystery to me why Accor wasn't included in the statement credits, given the Accor Plus relationship.
Maybe there's added complexity given all the different brands/chains that Accor has.

Our top-tier status with Accor (with the free night, and the 50% dining discount) was previously part of our Amex Platinum card benefit, anyway. Basically, we lost the good status, and it’s benefits. Hilton, with 18 brands, still offers Gold and hotel credits.

If the Amex/Accor relationship is that great, then why no Accor hotel offers from Amex?

Got an email fro mAmex this morning informing me of the offers and offer to save to one of my card, including Marriott Bonvoy. Logged in and no luck. Just now got an email in response to my enquiry, and they told me the Marriott offer is fully registerd, so probably why it wasn't offered.

I got an error trying to register for the Hilton offer this morning and thought it must have been oversubscribed and moved on. But when I checked my Saved offers there it was.
