I'd try another shop. This is not being universally enforced.

I agree with Dr Ralph - I was successful with $1k and $500 all split into 100s yesterday at 2 x LLs, another one only allowed 2 single purchases. I'd say it was my magnificent smile but I'm in Vic so it seems luck of the draw.

Update for those with the Reject Shop offer: they do stock a limited range of third party gift cards - options today were iTunes, Google (for Play store/Google Drive storage etc), Steam, Netflix, and some prepaid Visas (but it was $54.95 for a $50 prepaid Visa, so not really worth the hassle to just break even on it).

To recap, offer was spend $20 get $5, so not really worth going out of your way for, but an OK rebate if you were going by a store anyway.
