Same here got it on main PC only. Who doesn't spend at least $400 on groceries in 3 months. So effectively our annual fee have gone from $1200 to $800 this year which soften the blow on all the travel perks that we lose.

Maybe that is from their saving of not having to pay PP (and no Amex lounge) because no one is flying.

The Charge has come up quite well in responding to the changing conditions with this and the double points/double cashback offer
Only wish I had some exotic places to spend the travel credits

I think if you ask nicely Amex will extend the validity of the travel credit.

It’s 100% back up to $400.
T&Cs are a bit unclear on multiple transactions but leaning towards multiple.
T&Cs are quite clear:

“For example, spend $50 at any participating brand and receive $50 credit for each transaction multiple times, up to a maximum of $400 over the offer period.”

This one is a no brainer!
$400 of groceries by 27/08 - won't even need to try/think to do this one. Seems multiple transactions to make the total are fine too.

Yep, got it too. On my Personal Plat Charge card. (No sign of anything similar on the Plat Res Cred or the DJs Plat)
Will have no trouble taking full advantage of this!!

Another data point: Got the $400 groceries offer on my Amex Platinum card that comes with $1200 annual fee, the annual fee was charged earlier this month.

I agree, Amex has been very good with the current situation. An Amex cynic would say it's most unlike them; not me of course, I would never say that :p

$1450 annual fee effectively reduced to $200

FML... I cancelled my Charge card in early April, but would've seriously reconsidered had this offer been around then ! :(

Oh well, you win some and you lose some.

Hi all,
Pleased to report the successful use of the offer on the purchase of a Visa Gift Card.
$400 was credited back to my PC over night.
29 May purchased a $500 visa gift card In-store at Woolworths. Total cost was $507.95. This earned 2,2xx Amex Points, (but zero Woolworths points)
Over night there’s been a $400 credit applied onto the Amex Card account.
(Visa Gift card subsequently used to pay council rates)
Happy with that.
