i got 5 emails yesterday for $100 purchases at coles,

will report tomorow with the points
Was that buying gift cards with the 2K bonus Flybuys?

I chatted AMEX today and they just advised they are working on the correct points and sorry for the inconvenience.

I also asked if the points will be backdated when fixed and said yes they will so carry on spending.

I have 7 x emails all over $100 spend so waiting patiently.

I'm pretty sure I'm waiting for 1k flybuys Per $100 Coles mastercard

Also getting the emails every time I shop (which at the moment seems to be a couple of times a day). Will be keeping track of all this spend and reconciling it with whatever points end up being awarded.

just checked , got 1000 FB points for ubying the $100 coles master card, cant find the original deal, but i thibk it was 1000pts

Mine posted correctly for yesterday’s purchases. The previous 3 days still showing as incorrect and currently owed approx 1,250pts.

My 3 purchases from Tuesday (5th) have posted NO bonus points at all. I got the Amex email for each though.

Although maybe not to complain as I seem to have received 600 Qantas Points for $300 shopping on AMEX QF.

Edge for the other shops.

I've also received more points than 1 per dollar on QF Amex. 650 bonus points for $564 spend. In addition to 25 bonus points awared earlier this week.

Did you receive an update to this?

No I didn't. No change in points for the two transactions from last week. May need to call up and get that sorted. Thinking of cancelling the card anyway. Got an extra 8 points for a $4.53 purchase over the weekend.

UPDATE ON INCORRECT BONUS POINTS FOR SUPERMARKET SHOP:

I contacted AMEX chat about this as only 1 of my 10 purchases correctly tracked as 2 x points. They seem to be aware of the problem and indicate it has now been fixed:

"I sincerely apologize that some of the points were not credited, there was an error detected which has been detected, the remediation of any missing points for spend dated 1 - 7 May will be awarded automatically.

While points are normally awarded within 5 business days from qualifying spend, in some situations this may take up to 90 days from offer end date.

Please be rest assured, any points discrepancy will be awarded as soon as possible."

I’m finding that I get 1 transaction line for the bonus points each day - ie if I happen to shop multiple times in a day it is summarised into a single bonus point line on the statement.

Everything is now being awarded correctly however the first 3 days where it was wrong are still to be corrected. Missing approx 1,250 pts.


EDIT: Also noted that the Bonus point line seem to be calculated on when a transaction is finalised, not when it was actually made. So if there is some delay in it being finalised then it will show up on a different line than others that may have been made on the same day.
