I discovered yesterday that Harvey Norman sell Luxury Escapes gcs. If HN staff let you buy these with Amex that should trigger the HN Amex credit.

Went to get some Go Pro accessories, and after price matching to a cheaper store, fished out my Amex bought HN GCs to pay to be told they don't accept GCs if they price match!! WTF!! Before I could say anything, he said he would allow it THIS time! Unbelievable!!

In contrast, I had a nice guy in HN QV Melbourne. Went in looking to buy Nintendo Switch $449 and a new IPAD 2018 128gb $599, missed out by few days as JB hifi changed price back to $449 so couldn't price match, but Catch.com.au had it for $398, and they just recently opened a store in Chadstone, he was patient in doing some search on Google and agreed to price match. Bought a couple of batteries to make it above $1000, and he gladly helped split the payment over 4 Amex cards. Going to claim TRS in mid December, bringing the cost down to nearly $900.
