New Amex statement credits

Apart from actually buying a TV or a fridge, for instance, are there any other 'items' in HN worth using this SC on?

I purchased the iPhone X last year with the offer. 20% off is useful if you're purchasing items with set manufacturer pricing, such a Miele. For other items, I have found that you can usually get better savings at other retailers.

Do you need new furniture?

I was including these sorts of goods in my examples. By 'items', I was referring to things that might fit in one's wallet.

It's not targetted but isn't on Amex connect either. Go there to find a link to the deal.

70-odd posts on OzBargain in less than 1.5 hrs suggests there's still plenty of gaming to be had, even though the return is diminishing.

The HN offer has just appeared (via the app) on all three of my Amex... Was not available the last time I checked at 1100 HKT/AWST.

still no go for mine, just went through 20 cards and none of them have the offer. Not being on AMEX connect is by definition "targeted", otherwise anyone could just enter their card number and "save offer"

Harvey Norman offer on all my cards in app now. They weren't there an hour ago.

Ta, and perfect timing.

We had just gotten a quote from them to carpet three rooms and they were cheaper than the other quotes anyway. So this will save us another $450.

So will only have to spend $500 now to grab the $50 on all 11 of my Amexes.

Not really. Any non-HN GC method is well and truly gone.

They weren't on my cards either so that's exactly what I did Foggy. I've been doing that for years, ie registering for offers not on my cards.

"Manual links" are very common and used to be provided here regularly but now everyone just goes via OzB. Targetted offers occurs when a manual link can't be generated.

Give it a go through the "go to deal" link... Good luck :)

I wonder if those items might be withdrawn from sale like last year.

Will be interesting to hear about experiences.

Nice to see that I got the Hilton offer again and jumped on it

Perfect timing as I have to organise a 3 night trip to Perth and have never spent less than $400 there.

Pity I’m not there for longer and can take advantage of the Hyatt offer as well.
