Spent $15 at 7/11 this morning on petrol and got an email from Amex within a couple of minutes letting me know that my $5 credit will be in my account within 5 days.

I had better register my other Amex cards and do a few more $15 top ups,
 
is anyone having trouble buying gift certs online at DJS as I have tried 5 cards all knocked back then called DJS who said it was my card
yeah right
so then insisted they check it and try to buy it online
yep a problem so they have referred it to corporate services who said yes there is a problem they are trying to fix it.

Has this been resolved? If so did you manage to buy the gift certificates and receive the Amex credit?

That was my also my experience a couple of days ago, using my Amex Platinum Edge card. :)

Bought another gift card today, using my NAB Velocity Platinum Amex...... no e-mail. :(

Meanwhile, 4 / 4 for McDonalds and 3 / 3 for 7-11 (no room in the tank at the moment for the 4th card at 7-11).

I'll wait and see if a $15 credit turns up anyway. Maybe the e-mail simply went AWOL?

And yes, the offer is registered to that card.

Re my previous post, a $15 statement credit appeared overnight, so it was just a missing e-mail after all. :)

So now to put my snout back in the trough with my other two Amex cards whilst the offer's still on.... :cool:

I got the email for one card after my spend at Liquorland, so will use the other card to buy another Coles/Myer gift card.

Mrs_O slammed the DJ's offer :) and I managed to use the Hotel Club offer on both cards. This is more like it Amex!

Snap. Did same today at Warringah Mall. Used card immediately in Coles adjoining. 15% discount very nice. 3 cards to go.
 
I've just used DJ online to buy DJ giftcard. The email arrived instantly :eek:

The only downside is the $5 delivery grrrrr.

Yes I knew that. You should hear the ridiculous replies from DJs. Is all my fault my ip my computer.
 
I must look down and out. When I used Amex card #4 to put another $15 worth of petrol in the Corolla at 7-11, another motorist saw that I was only putting $15 worth in, and offered me another $5. :D
