Air Pacific has released its new logo when the airline changes its name to Fiji Airways in 2013.

As reported earlier this year, the airline is undergoing a major transformation as it awaits the arrival of its brand new A330′s.

The new logo was designed by Fijian artist Makereta Matemosi who is internationally renowned for her traditional masi art. The new logo features a series of specially designed motifs that carry special meaning to the culture and the people of Fiji.

I think it looks nice - i'm happy they've moved away from the over done island-style logo and colour scheme. I look forward to seeing the overall paint scheme of the aircraft!

From colour to near-black and white. Seems a strange change to me.

I thought the old island theme was quite tacky. This has more meaning and looks contemporary.

Poor logo.

Looks very early 80s, you could also think that it is a giant target.

Dislike, much prefer the old colours, the old one was a "so bad it's good" where as this new one looks like its trying to be something it's not.

Very nice, fits contemporary Fiji very nicely. Much better than the tacky old colour logo in my eyes!

Sorry haydensydney, I'm giving it the thumbs down. When viewed closely, there is something about the letter F in fiji that just doesn't seem to work. But who knows, by the time they've repainted all the airplanes (or gone broke), perhaps I will like it. I mean, AirNZ's pink ideas took a while to settle in.
