Yes but points have not posted. From what I have read on this site you need to have some other points activity, like a win in a promotion, before the on-line statement points post. ...

Not in my experience; I joined AAdvantage last year and the points were awarded a month or two later. they were the ONLY points I had until I scored another 150 for viewing an advert online earlier this year.

I joined Mrs Serfty up in October requesting mailed updates, then in November I changed that to eSummaries, her 1K points posted a few weeks ago.

Mine have just posted with an activity date of 21 Oct 06 which would be when i joined AA.

So I now have 1,000 AA points!

My husband got his 500 points. I had also won 500 points but I got an email that because someone else from the same household had already won, I wouldn't get my prize. So they are tracking it, even at the lower level prizes.

I also got the "sorry you lose" email as another member of our household had already won 500 points. Oh Well.

I also got the same email but as I had scratched up 5000 points there was no way I was going to let mrsdrron spoil that.Quandary if I complain do they take another look and knock me back on the US residents only clause.Sent back a reply and happily my 5000 points have posted.
