Unlikely to get points but even less likely that you have been conned. Very clear in the T&C's.

You mean the Terms and Conditions that have often have numbered references to notes but no actual footnotes? (I note that the link provided does have numbered footnotes, but I'm pretty diligent about reading terms and conditions, when they're available, and I probably wouldn't have bothered with this card if I had thought there was any chance I wouldn't qualify for the 100,000.)

We'll see. I haven't reached the three-month qualifying period yet, but have far exceeded the required spend.

You won’t get the points. Happened to me. I was about a month short of the 18 month wait. I didn’t do my sums right and I rang and complained but I still didn’t get the points
