So very kind of you @Matt_01.@Seat0B I note from your comment "and not just an extra piece of decoration on my luggage" I must ask did you pass 'DYKWIA 101', of course it is decoration and a very important at that I once noticed a PAX entering the ADL lounge showing his gold card to the lounge staff while I was noticing the P1 tags attached to their backpack and carry on My 'free stuff' posts have helped several members of AFF join the WP and P1 club without having to go through the normal QF earning channels .
Being serious if you have no luck with QF send me a PM and I will send you a WP QF 100 tag. I had requested a new tag for MrsM early last year and the 100 tag arrived. She has no idea that she has it and wouldn't care, we are not aviation enthusiasts and between us have more unused coasters of most colours than we will ever use.
So take your pick, there are a couple items if you ask for, the answer maybe no other than that just ask.The part that’s really hilarious is that I actually only want a WP tag having been dropped from P1 about 3 years ago. It’s the P1 tag that doesn’t work anymore and I have no idea where my old WP tags are after more than 6 years since I last used them. Have felt a bit of a fraud still using P1 tags but apparently they don’t send new ones on downgrade - you’re supposed to still have your old ones.
It has been less than 24 hours and your request for the QF WP 100 coaster has been completed by Matt_01. It is on its way sent protected by x1 layer of copier paper, stuffed into an envelope and sealed some sticky tape around the edges and a couple of $1 dollar stamps.Well it’s been 24 hrs and my query hasn’t even been acknowledged....... Maybe I’ll have to upgrade it to a complaint!
I went the e-mail route rather than the online form... I had an automated reply with an SR number almost right away, and then [my] Jennifer wrote about 7 hours later to say my pack would be sent outI still haven't had a reply or acknowledgement. I can't recall, but I thought they usually sent an automated "we will get back to you sometime" sort of email. I might have to send again....Even though I will benefit from @Matt_01's kind generosity, I still want Qantas to do the right thing for me
