Here's my take on things. Apologies if anyone is offended.
A post requesting a Qantas Club pass (or several) by someone with no posting history or small posting history is never viewed well by forum regulars. Why? They cannot see what someone has contributed to the forum, and yep it is similar to someone sitting outside a train station asking for money.
I have found a lot of members here to be very generous at times with travel 'guff' (eg passes, amenity kits, guesting into clubs, assistance with planning, gifting of free upgrades etc). However, you will find that these things tend to occur when people 'know' each other through a series of posts, general assistance with flying matters etc.
The forum rules at AFF were changed a while ago to prohibit solicitation for QP guest passes:
The Australian Frequent Flyer Online Community - FAQ: Posting Guidelines - What's not permitted
perhaps Admin needs to make this rule more clearer.
All that aside, someone once bit me big time when I gifted them a free Qantas Club pass. They didn't use it, but instead sold it on ebay for a reasonable sum of cash, and then lied to me about how they used it when I sent an enquiry email. I have a PDF copy of the ebay page where they sold it, the picture on the ebay page had certain markings matching "rub marks" on the Qantas Club pass I'd gifted, the suburb matched up and the username matched a variant of their name.
I have had some good transactions where I've gifted passes without a problem though, but experiences like the one above make you think carefully about items and what you do with them...

Posts containing promotional messages for commercial products or services are not permitted. This includes the solicitation and/or the exchange of frequent flyer points and airport lounge guest passes.
