I need to get to a shop somewhere in town tomorrow to buy a bag for a trip. I have the privilege/scary responsibility of about 50 hours of flying around the world with small children. So I will have my laptop, my little MIDI keyboard/sequencer, an iPad for each kid, four sets of headphones as well as books, games for the flight.

I think there is a Crumpler store here but my last Crumpler bag was really deep and everything got lost down the bottom. Anyone can recommend something that would work and let me reach in and grab a device despite having multiple children in the way in an economy class or PE cabin?

Its a lot for one carry on. But I have a Crumpler No 5 which is great. Certainly a separate compartment for a laptop and inside there is one for a tablet. The inside could hold also the keyboard and headphones. Whilst the outer compartment could fit another tablet and smartphones plus accessories.

Certainly worth a look if you are headed to Crumpler.

I recommend getting some packing cells too. Perhaps a different colour for each child and putting an ipad plus headphones in each. Easier to locate and pull out when necessary. I swear by them, and that's just travelling with one child!
