Narita QF21 - Zone A config

Have had an unadvised a/c substitution for early 2015.
Zone A seat map now has only 14 seats. Row 3 has 3x2 and there is no row 4.
Is this a Refurb? (I thought Old First had only 14 seats too).
Upper Deck row 16 is a two seat row (seems a good choice?). Exit row not available.

What's the upper deck exit row number?

UD exit is row 14.
Row 16 seems to have similar space as the exit row, but with only 16JK seats, but next to galley.
There's 58 J seats & I think old first has single seats on window, whereas this has two seats.

If the UD exit is row 14 you are on a refurb.
If flying solo, row 5 down below is great!

Hi Blu, thanks for posting. I'm also on QF21 next Jan and just logged onto my booking. Sure enough, my previously chosen 16J/K exits no longer appear and exit is 14J/K, so I quickly slotted those in for my wife and I. So surely this suggests Q is now running refurbed 747s on the SYD-NRT? If anyone has any recommendations for best seats in business on this flight, please let me know.

I am on QF22 at the end of this month and seating arrangement is showing refurb J class
