For those who have recently visited Namibia, do you have an opinion on the pros and cons of applying in advance online for the e- visa, or taking the in-person on arrival option? The official line is that e-visa is preferred, but in person option is available on arrival at Windhoek airport. We are not in any hurry on arrival.
We are also visiting Zimbabwe, which only seems to have an in-person on arrival option, and South Africa (visa not required) so it seems administratively easier to just do both the visas on arrival. I've had a couple of very poor experiences (read highly stressful) with on line visa applications in the past (different countries) and Mr Seat 0A hates doing them, so I end up doing for us both.
What I'm trying to work out is whether going for in-person visa in Namibia going to become an post in the Travel Mistakes thread
.
Thanks!
