I get the impression that people are ignoring your advice/thoughts on these threads :) .

I have just received a new MyCard, which is supposed to replace my Suncorp card; but the card is only new in the graphic artwork, the card number, expiry date, even the CVV, are all exactly the same, it's still a Citi card.

I would have thought that they would want to move my account over to the new NAB MyCard platform, yet they have just reprinted my card details and the same CVV onto a different piece of plastic?! What's going on here.

Have you requested a replacement or anything?
Not a lost card replacement, but this is the bulk migration of Suncorp credit cards. I received an e-mail over a month ago saying we must destroy our Suncorp branded cards as Suncorp has now cut tie with NAB, but now this card doesn't even appear as a card from the new NAB lending platform.

OK, so they have removed the Suncorp branding on the re-issued cards. Just use the new card.

Same. Not bothered as mine is destined to go in the bin. No insurance going forward, no KF transfers. It was a good churn though.
Not only a good churn, I have a what Citi called 'check to self', paid 2% fee, got a cheque and chucked it into my home loan offset for 1 year. Final hurrah.

Yeah, just seems silly if this card ends up with a lifespan of 2 months.

Suncorp offered this? Must be nice. I’d take that even if just to dump into a savings acct and enjoy the free interest.

So..... an update on this one.
  • AMP Go - App won't install, not available in the UK Google Play store.
  • Bankwest - Can't apply without installing the app, but the app installs fine. Won't progress outside AU, so connected VPN and get through most of the application. It falls over (just keeps timing out) when it gets to the verification step, so it's possible their verify partner is blocking VPN.
  • Suncorp - Their website isn't clear on fees. Yes, it says fee free on online purchases and overseas, but the statement on ATM fees is wishy washy at best, which is the main one I need. Everyday Options Bank Account | Personal Banking | Suncorp Bank. It just says ATM Operator fee, so should be OK? https://www.suncorpbank.com.au/cont...-information/personal-deposit-account-pid.pdf

With ATM fees, it basically says Suncorp doesn't charge a fee, but you'll have to wear anything the ATM operator charges.

Yes. If you read the PDS PDF you linked to yourself, page 25:

Foreign Currency Conversion Fee (Suncorp Bank Visa Debit
Transactions) (fee does not apply to Everyday Options and Everyday Essentials Accounts) 3%

So you just need to make sure that you have the correct product. I had to convert my Everyday Basic to Everyday Options for this. And yes, I have used this in US and South Korea, really no forex fee.
