I transferred some points to SPG over the phone and they actually made it!

I was worried when they said it could take 28 days, but I think it took 10.
 
A data point of sorts..

Transferred on line 18000 Diners points to SPG in one hit on 28 Jan. SPG points credited correctly on 13 Feb.

Not ultra quick I suppose, but they did get there within the advertised time frame without me having to speak to anyone.

I'm still wary of trying an online transfer. But I'll have to bite the bullet soon. Thanks for the reports.
