Completed our 8 day cruise on MV President, the vessel is in immaculate condition as one would expect making just the third season from new. The 38 guests were mainly 50+ ages from many counties inc. Australia, England, Swiss, German and Norwegian.

We had an upper cabin it was quiet even though it was under the main dinning room. There is a bar, side lounges, small pool on top deck, ample under cover outdoor seating and a huge swimming platform (the latter not used due to the inclement weather). It also has a beautiful spiral staircase to lounge dinning room.
As one would expect the cabin was small, it had a narrow cupboard and desk but we got by, stored our suitcases under the bed. The en suite was adequate and the hot water was hot with a powerful shower head. The room and en suite were serviced daily.

The ship visited a different island each day and stayed right at the city wharf overnight, so handy to transport if required. Most nights 2 other vessels from same company would tie up to us. Even though the weather was very cool the onboard company made up for it, along with the ships excellent ambience.

On land the tours were all included, guides were excellent (some a bit long winded in commentary). There is a fair amount of walking on so get fit before you go, the history of these medieval places is something to see as is the park and lake walk with small boat ride, the wine tasting was also big hit as were the places of Korcula and especially Bol on the last day, amazng clean places, historic buildings and nice waterfront restaurants etc..

The food on board was Ok, breakfast was much the same each day, continental, if you wanted toast then line up to the 2 slice “sandwich” maker. Three nights we ate ashore, on more than one occasion the six Aussies (the “A” team) plus two poms took over a restaurant and had the local patrons and owners in fits of laughter.

The dinning room had one fantastic barman must say this guy was the ultimate professional, he knew at all times what to do, like on roller skates, he mixed drinks and was there like 24/7 and had a good sense of humour as well!.

The captain was all of 24 years young, he steered the beautiful ship through these waters as one would expect, dockside it was a sight to see as he brought her in perfectly every time with his crew drilled accordingly in the tie up process.

If you want something out of left field, a ship that can actually go right into port rather than anchor offshore, a cosy friendly atmosphere with a max of 40 passengers, an excellent crew, tours included and able to visit so many islands the MV President has to be top of the list.

Thanks, but arrgh! So many places to visit, so many things to do ...

Price from web site looks OK, considering the inclusions.

That last pic is at Split I think? Your ship better than the one I spotted whilst there ... (I drove down the coast - your transport so much better!)

Nice.I am a big fan of small ships.

We are too now, so friendly and sociable, no queues or dress ups, easy on and off in harbours... and around the same price.

Beautiful BOL on Island of BRAC.
