Hi,

I was attempting to booking PER-OOL (via SYD) on QF, OOL-SYD on JQ and SYD-PER, however, it always comes up with an error message about the itinerary.

However, when the above routing was booked with only QF flights, there was no issue with the process. Unfortunately, only the JQ depature suites my schedule.

I was wondering if this is a common issue and what other ways are there to book my QF and JQ combination flights?

Thanks

I had a similar problem recently booking Melbourne to Honolulu and return. I did my planning by looking up the booking web suite which gives choices of both Qantas and Jetstar flights. But I didn't take the dummy bookings to the selection stage at the time.
The dates suited us to go via Sydney with Qantas and there was return flight direct to Melbourne on our last day.
But when I tried to do the booking, all the Jetstar flight options disappeared once I selected Qantas as the first flight. So we returned via Sydney (not so bad as my Westpac black card gave us free lounge passes).
I suppose the logic is that a return air fare has to be on the same airline.
However one can book multiple one world/code share airlines on a Qantas ticket !!!. Not sure why not Jetstar. Others may know more.
Booking a series of one way flights might get around it but it might cost more.

I've experienced similar but can't remember the route. This used to be possible. Not sure what has changed. But I will add my usually caveat that avoidance of jetstar is the preferred option. ;)

Actually this could have been ADL-sin, sin-kul. Qantas multi city falling over is so common I don't pay too much attention.
