Guys,
This does not have to be a direct flight, but does anyone have some routing ideas to secure this one on a *alliance carrier? I think it has defeated me. I am with Krisflyer. Deaprting Oct 8.

Nothing that doesnt involve many thousands of miles of detour. AFAIK the only *A flights to Kuwait are from Bangkok and Frankfurt.

I cant think of any non-*A Kris Flyer partners that would have anything more convenient.

Best to take a local airline that flies direct (or via hub in the area) I think.

KU (Kuwait) flies direct
GF (Gulf), UL (Sri Lankan), EK (Emirates) via hub - these may or may not connect well.

By the way, Kiwiflyer (or anyone else) - is there a OneWorld option? This also defaeated me, although I note there is a Cathay flight from Mumbai - to Dubai.

As far as I know, the OneWorld flights to Mumbai are QF from SYD, BA from LHR and CX from HKG. And the only OneWorld to operate to KWI is BA from London. So its a connection in London if you want to use OneWorld.

The only direct flights are KU302 (Kuwait Airlines), AI853 (Air India non-stop) and AI861 (2 stops).

No - but could mix it up with eg CX to DXB and then KU to KWI.
