Gday All,

Wasn't sure whether to post here or in the Flight Search Assistance thread but thought id have a crack.

Looking to book a trip to the US using QFF points but keep running into a bloody Qantas website error (Qantas.com flight search error: We are unable to find the flight recommendations for requested segment (s) %s to %s on airlines that we search. (#9207)) when checking the routes.

If anyone has any tips or could please tell me what I'm doing wrong I would be eternally grateful.

Looking to go:
MEL - LA - BNA
MEM - DFW
DFW - MSY
(MSY - LA: think I need to purchase this separately as Qantas doesn't service?)
LA - MEL

Trying to sort it so Melbourne to LA is prem economy or business and the internal US flights are just economy.

Hopefully that's enough detail for someone to lend me a helping hand.

Thanks in advance.

The easiest resolution is to call, say you can't book online and get the phone assistance fee waived*

Thanks for the response mate but I’m not ready to book yet, just wanted to make sure all the destinations line up while I wait for bonus points to be processed.

You should be aware that if one segment is in PE or J then the whole trip will be priced at that level.

The QF site doesn't show most internal AA awards. I'd be looking for the AU-US sectors on QF.com, then search separately on AA's website for the domestic flights (look for saver award space only, not AAnytime). Once you have both sets of flights, ring QF to book it all on the one ticket.
