Hi All

I booked myself a multi-city booking for the first time via Qantas web site and my journey starts today. Route is
BNE-SYD 5-May 7PM (spend night in Sydney)
SYD-JNB-DUR 6-May 9:35 AM

All are QF flight numbers on same booking reference, with last leg a codeshare with SA Airlink. I am flying premium economy on the SYD-JNB leg and put in a classic upgrade request a while back for business. I got prompted to check in yesterday for my domestic leg and it gave me my domestic ticket. I got prompted this morning by the Qantas app to check in for my international flight (no e-mail or sms), but there is no option to on the app to do so, and the web site Manage Booking just shows me my Sydney ticket QR code. The status for the SYD-JNB flight still just at Upgrade Requested, even an hour after the 24 hour check in window. I'm guessing I need to check in at the BNE or SYD airport?

You will need to check in - OLCI is somewhat tenuous with multi segment flights, especially when international is involved. At least JNB is early enough that you won't need to worry too much about when airport check in opens.

FWIW, I was advised in late February that Qantas OLCi cannot handle more than three segments. Nor could the auto machines at the airport - I had to see a service desk staff member.

Great, thank you!
