More QF 77 cancellations?

Given PER is a 4.5 hour drive I really don't like morning departures.:shock:

Early March seems to have had QF 77 (PER-SIN @ 16:00) disappear. Recheduled to QF 71 @ noon.

Any formal announcement which I missed?

I did a quick search and can see QF77 and QF78 flights in mid-July. Perhaps there's not enough demand for the extra flights in March and due to low loads they've decided to cancel some flights?

It seems QF71/72 are the main flights and QF77/78 are run when the demand is sufficient to put on extra flights.

It's my understanding that 77/78 are seasonal and generally only operate during the school holidays.

That would make sense. Daily 71/72 and extra flights 77/78 on some days during school holidays (when there is peak demand).

QF 77 now starts back up on 26 Mar exPER Fri/Sun/Mon being discontinued on 21 Feb. :-( Note: I found out by a schedule change notice as I booked QF 77 for 05 Mar about a week ago.

QF 71 in early Jan is back to an A330...
